Installing AI Generator adds WordPress admin screens and Gutenberg editor panels for AI-assisted content creation.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.0 or newer.
• PHP 7.4 or newer.
• A WordPress user role that can edit posts or pages.
• A wpthemoon.com account for AI generation features.

Install the plugin

1. Download the plugin package.
2. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New.
3. Click Upload Plugin.
4. Choose the plugin ZIP file.
5. Click Install Now.
6. Click Activate Plugin.

You can also upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/wpthemoon if you install plugins manually.

Find the plugin after activation

After activation, WordPress adds a top-level AI Generator menu in the admin sidebar.

Use it for:

• Batch Generator: Create multiple article drafts from keywords.
• Settings: Connect your wpthemoon.com account and set defaults.

The plugin also adds panels to the Gutenberg editor when you edit posts or pages.

Before you start

• Back up your WordPress site before installing new plugins.
• Confirm your WordPress and PHP versions meet the requirements.
• Make sure your user account can install and activate plugins.
• Prepare your wpthemoon.com account so you can connect the plugin after activation.

Common mistakes

• Activating the plugin but not adding the API Key.
• Looking for article tools on a page instead of a post.
• Looking for Page Generator on a post instead of a page.

No. You must connect your account and choose a generation action.

Can editors use the plugin?

Users need permission to edit posts or pages for editor tools. Settings access depends on WordPress admin permissions.
